and 7 years old, I use body soap. Could this be a problem? |
Q18 |

I have very oily scalp so I used the Kozgro spa mineral body soap to shampoo
my hair in the morning and use the Kozgro shampoo at night. Twice I am
washing my hair but would this cause my hair to thin or lead to hair loss? |
Q21 |
About two years ago, I started suffering from thinning of the hair and
eventually some hair loss. This was probably due to excessive perm, excessive
use of hair products, frequent use of the blow dryer, and stress. I have
tried various hair growth products but they irritated my scalp. I believed
that proper hair wash will help improve hair growth and have been using
a 5000 yen shampoo that contains natural amino acid but realized even this
contains surface-active agents. Ifm no longer sure what to do. |
Q22 |
Which has stronger washing power, the Kozgro spa mineral body soap or Kozgro
spa mineral shampoo? |
Q1 |
How are Kozgro and general synthetic shampoo different? |
A |
Most synthetic shampoos include ingredients that damage hair such as surfactant,
emulsifier, humidity retention agent, preservative, mold agent, antioxidant,
foaming agents, pigment, etc. These ingredients and agents can penetrate
the skin and can transfer to internal organs such as the liver through
the blood vessels causing various illness. Research also points out these
harmful agents are cause of infertility. Kozgro products aim to avoid using
these ingredients and be safe to use from babies with weak skin to all
members of the family including the elderly. |

Q2 |
When comparing regular shampoo to Kozgro, are there less foams produced?
|
A |
Foams and bubbles produced by regular bath products are not eco-friendly
and may not be gentle to the skin. However, it is also true that without
these foam, cleaning of the skin may be difficult. Therefore, in consideration
of the environment, Kozgro products have maintained a bare minimum amount
of foam so that it can still be used as a bathing product. Although at
first this may feel uncomfortable, we are confident the user will understand
the safe and eco-friendly Kozgro to be high in quality and usage. |

Q3 |
I always use the rinse after shampooing but is there a problem to this
product? |
A |
It is said that rinse products contain very harmful ingredients that can
affect your hair and scalp. Using rinse will only be like putting wax onto
a damaged hair to keep it look healthy for only short period of time. With
the Kozgro shampoo, the natural ingredient will allow the skin and scalp
to regenerate itself, bringing them back to a healthy state. Hence you
will no longer need to use rinse product when using the Kozgro shampoo. |

Q4 |
After using Kozgro shampoo for one month, my dandruff went away. Are there
any special medicinal properties preventing dandruff in Kozgro? |
A |
Kozgro does not use special medicinal ingredients. Depending on the scalp
of each person, dandruffs may be the result of regular shampoo products
with harmful ingredients, irritating the surface of ths scalp causing it
to shed skin. Kozgro shampoo on the other hand is very gentle to the hair
and scalp. It would retain and regenerate the scalp to its original healthy
state, preventing dandruffs to appear. |

Q5 |
After shampooing with Kozgro, would it be difficult to brush or stroke
the hair during the drying period? |
A |
The Kozgro shampoo cleansing power is very strong leaving little moisture
in the hair. While this may make it less easier to stroke or brush your
hair, once completely dry, your hair will be very manageable and easier
to style. |

Q6 |
Why is it when using Kozgro products, the bathroom ceramics and drainage
area tend to become less dirty? |
A |
Moulds are the common factor of allowing tiles and drainage area to become
dirty. Bathrooms have the perfect temperature and humidity that can provide
a breeding ground for mould. This further increases when there are nutrients
to provide the organisms in the mould to grow. Regular soap products contain
such nutrients. On the other hand, Kozgro products do not contain nutrients
to allow bacteria to grow on therefore preventing the bathroom area to
become dirty. Cleaning and maintaining bathrooms is a very tiresome and
costly task. Switching to Kozgro product will reduce this greatly. |

Q7 |
What kind of conditioner do you recommend? |
A |
From our standpoint of using Kozgro product, we beleive there are no recommendation
to use conditioner products. Conditioners contain many ingredients and
chemcials such as the surface-active agent that can be harmful to ths scalp.
Some of these agents can remain embedded in hair folicles and irritate
the scalp. Kozgro products do not contain any of these harmful ingredients
and does not leave residue on the scalp. This is mainly the reason why
despite the fact Kozgro does not include any medicinal properties, can
provide healthy skin because it does not contain any unwanted substance
to hinder the hair's natural growth and maintenance. We firmly believe
that any product such as conditioner that can hinder this would not be
recommended. |

Q8 |
Would mixing home made herb extract with the shampoo reduce cleansing ability? |
A |
It depends on the amount of extract to be mixed but inclusion will lower
cleansing ability of the Kozgro product. |
Q&A top
Q9 |
Kozgro shampoo is not categorized as a shampoo or synthetic soap so would
its cleansing strengths be considered weak? |
A |
Kozgro shampoo is more than sufficient to remove dirt, tobacco smell, skin
oil, etc and allow to maintain a healthy scalp. The product contains natural
mineral ingredient to give care to both hair and scalp with humidity retention
power and is very safe to use. |

Q10
|
Using soap shampoo is said to increase hair loss due to residual soap remaining
on the hair folicles. How about the Kozgro shampoo? |
A |
Regular soap shampoo uses animal/vegetable based oils combined with sodium
hydroxide or fatty acid sodium mixed. Using products with these ingredients
will leave oil residue that will increase the chance of hair loss. Kozgro
does not use any of these ingredients and use only natural minerals that
does not damage the scalp, hair or the root of the hair. This prevents
hair loss, difference in hair thickness, etc |

Q11
|
If grating occurs, does this mean hair growth cannot be expected? Should
I shampoo everyday? |
A |
Grating occurs naturally when the hair contains moisture but would not
appear when dried so there is no problem. Regular shampoos will try to
avoid grating by adding lubricant and astriction medicines. We at Kozgro
firmly believes that such medicine is unnecessary. Grating does not affect
hair growth or restoration and the use of such aforementioned medicinal
products will only damage the scalp and hair. Our product is very safe,
using natural sodium found in hotsprings that does not require any surface-active
agent found in most shampoos. Many users has praised that since using our
product there has been decrease in hair loss, dandruffs and on the other
hand improvement and strengthening of the hair. |

Q12
|
What is the difference between regular soap shampoo conditioner with your
company shampoo? |
A |
The major difference is that our shampoo does not use the surface-active
agent for washing. When shampooing with soap shampoo, soap residue can
enter into the scalps and hair. The soap adhering to the hair will make
it feel rough and in order to reduce this sensation, conditioner is usually
used. However, the soap residue will still remain becoming an irritant
to both hair and scalp. The Kozgro, like soap shampoo is alkali-based so
it will also open the pores in hair when there is moisture but will not
leave behind any residue. (when dry the hair will restore to its original
state) Therefore, it is not necessary for Kozgro to use conditioners after
using shampoo |

I had perm done to my hair and am using the 2nd bottle of the Kozgro shampoo.
Even though I understood that using this product will reduce the occurance
of static electricity but it still did. I heard this is due not to Kozgro
but some other reasons? |
A |
Perm solutions (strong alkalinity) used in the hair contains medicinal
properties with a negative ion (-), allowing static electricity to occur
easier. Most beauty salons recommend the use of hand brushes due to high
probability of static electricity to occur when using synthetic brushes
after having perm done to the hair. |

Q14
|
When Kozgro shampoo is used, would the perm done to the hair be removed
easier? After the 3rd day of having my perm done to my hair, it seemed
to have reverted back to straight hair. |
A |
The possibility exists though it depends on the situation. If the perm
solutions has not permeated into the hair enough we do not recommend using
the shampoo until after the 3rd day. |

Q15
|
Your product contains alkyl glycoside, but is this not a surface-active
agent? |
A |
As a washing element, it is not easy to use without foaming bubbles when using as a shampoo. Therefore we included only a small amount of this safe active agent to help provide ease of use. General shampoo uses about 38-45% surface-active agent whereas we only include 0.83%.
In addition, there is a numerical value called LD50 that shows safety of a product that can be edible by human beings. In many surface-active agents, there are products that contains these high numerical numbers other than soap. (The higher the numerical value is, safer) For example, soap contains around 16,000, but there are other containing numerical values of 20,000 or more.
Because neither preservatives or chemicals are used in our product, there is low toxicity level. Although there are small perecentate of surface-active agent used (0.83%) for the convenience of use of consumers, our product contains inorganic minerals so we are very confident about our product being safe.

Q16
|
I brought in the shampoo with me in the sauna and afterwards washed my
hair and noticed the change in foam. Would the shampoo change its property
under immense heat? |
A |
The principal ingredient of Kozgro is inorganic, and never be affected
in quality by a little temperature change. In this case, it is thought
that the foaming increased due to heat as well as combination of oil secreating
from the scalp due to excessive sweating. Please continue using without
any concerns. |

Q17
|
Because I am worried about the affect of fragrance to my child of 2 years
and 7 years old, I use body soap. Could this be a problem? |
A |
No, there are many consumers using body soap instead of shampoo. Please
continue use. |

Q18
|
I have hard hair and it hurts considerably when using the curler everyday.
I heard your shampoo creates grating. With my damaged hair, would it be
possible to avoid using conditioners? |
A |
It is safely assumed that you do not require conditioner. However if this
is an issue, we are not against usage of it. Conditioners will neutralize
cause of static electricity due to residual surface-active agent and lubricates
the hair using silicon. Grating only occurs because the moisture opens
the cuticles and this will return normal once its dried. Chemicals in the
conditioners only lubricates the hair and does not repair damages caused
to the hair. |

Q19
|
I have considerably weak skin and am using soap shampoo but cannot wash
properly and feel that my hair is sticky due to soap residue. How about
this shampoo? |
A |
Hair would not become sticky or adhere to one another because Kozgro shampoo
does not produce soap residue. The grating may be a surprising sensation
at first but after use, it is very refreshing feel and consumers who have
been using soap shampoo generally would agree that grating felt is not
noticeable. |

|
I have very oily scalp so I used the Kozgro spa mineral body soap to shampoo
my hair in the morning and use the Kozgro shampoo at night. Twice I am
washing my hair but would this cause my hair to thin or lead to hair loss? |
A |
There is a possibility that the frequency of using shampoo which involves
rubbing of the hair may cause some damage to one another. However, thinning
or hair loss is not the result of excessive washing of hair. As explained
before, Kozgro shampoo does not use ingredients found in most regular shampoo
which leads to hair loss or thinning of hair. Please do keep in mind that
excessive washing may physically damage hair and may need to be closely
observed by the user. |

A |
Hair loss can be attributed to various reasons but the types of shampoo used and surface-active agents in hair tonic and other growth products are considered possible reasons as well. Generally extracts from oil, coal, flora and fauna are mixed with other raw materials and oxidized to produce cleaning products. These products after certain amount of time will change due to chemical reaction so perservatives and additives are included. Furthermore, surface-active agents are added which further creates the product to be toxic and may lead to protein degeneration. This can greatly affect not only the human body the product is used on but also on the natural enviornment
@
If such a thing is compared to agriculture, harmful agricultural chemicals are used on the soil and crops to avoid insects. Although crops may look healthy, the use of chemicals weaken the crops disrupting the natural growth vitality and the inclusion of chemicals will transfer to human beings who consume these crops
If the soil (scalp/body) is healthy, crops (hair) will grow by its own. It is not necessary to depend of chemicals or medicine to improve growth. Hair growth product also contain surface-active agents so we do ask the consumer to check the product label or the result may be not desirable.
Kozgro products are compared to regular soaps (flora and fauna oil + caustic soda and fatty acid sodium) and synthetic detergents (organic, synthetic surface-active agent and various preservatives and changing in quality prevention medicines) Kozgro products are completely different in that it uses minerals found in natural hot springs that uses none of the other soap and detergent ingredients or properties.

Q22
|
Which has stronger washing power, the Kozgro Spa mineral body soap or Kozgro
Spa mineral shampoo? |
A |
It is very difficult to say since washing power is dependant on the type
of dirt it requires to clean off from a given surface. The type of product
is used specifically so we can only ask the user to determine what is best
for them to use. |
