I got acquainted to Kozgro when receiving the shampoo and pet product by Kozgro. Is there a difference between the Termedic and the Kozgro pet use shampoo?
Since the Kozgro is cheaper. Especially now the packaging has become different (similar to the Kozgro type) and the increase in amount with same price,
I feel if the ingredient is similar, I would like to switch to the Kozgro |
Q1 |
When shampooing by Termedic pet shampoo,
there is hardly any body odor for a long time (About 2-3 weeks). Why is this? |
A |
When comparing general shampoo (synthetic surface-active agent as principal
ingredient) and Termedic pet shampoo, this would be obvious. Residue from
regular shampoo will remain on the surface of the scalp and hair. This
will later be combined with the old skin, dust which will increase bacterial
growth and cause odour even though shampooing has been done. On the other
hand, Termedic pet shampoo uses minerals found in hot springs, even if
residue remains, it will not become a nourishment source for bacterial
growth and will prevent body odour to be caused |

Q2 |
After I shampoo using the Termedic, I used the conditioner and then the
body odour became stronger. Why is this? |
A |
A lot of additives like a synthetic surface-active agent and preservatives
are included in conditioners. Using such conditioners will only harm the
surface of the skin and residue will again cause bacterial growth causing
strong body odour. This is similar to our explanation of using regular shampoo. |

Q3 |
After using shampoo by Termedic, I feel it is harder to brush or stroke
the hair using the hand while the hair is drying. |
A |
Termedic firmly flushes out old skins, dirt, and germs. Compared to regular
shampoo, there exists no residue on the surface of the skin. Therefore,
immediately after wash, it may feel difficult to brush or use hands to
stroke the hair. However, the shampooing will enrich the hair and will
restore to healthy state. |

Q4 |
Termedic could stop the dandruff of my lovely dog, which was the longtime
worry. Is there any medicinal elements used to stop dandruffs? |
A |
Medicinal properties stopping dandruff are not combined with Termedic.
For Termedic, the same element as the hot spring mineral is used as its
principal ingredient. The effect is flushing out of the old skin which
is the cause of dandruffs. The complete wash off without any residue is
the result of the dandruffs being completely removed. |

Q5
|
While using Termedic it feels as if the amount of hair has increased in
volume. Why is that? |
A |
Because Termedic is not using the surface-active agent for the washing
element which usually causes the hair to become very sticky. When shampooing
with Termedic, each hair will be free of any residue and free of being
stuck together, allowing the hair to flow naturally. This may result in
the amount of hair to increase. |

|
How what is different from Termedic and general synthetic shampoo, botanical
shampoo, and herb shampoo? |
A |
Many people are confused with the various types (synthetic shampoo, the
botanical shampoo, and the herb shampoo) Let us examine the difference
between them. First, synthetic shampoos are oil-based using surface-active
agent to be the principal ingredient. When these ingredients are alcohols
extracted from plants, they are called botanical shampoos. Finally herb
extracts combined with shampoos are called herb shampoos. Even though they
are either oil-based or botanical, combination with various chemicals will
only result in a product dependant on surface-active agents (mainly becoming
synthetic oil-based) Even herabl shampoos with its mixture of herb extracts
with excessive chemicals will result in oil-based surface-active agent
synthetic shampoo. Whatever the case, it is important to note that it is
the additives and the amount of combined mixture, not the main ingredient
itself that should be taken into consideration. Termedic uses no surface-active
agent which is unlike any other shampoos. Moreover, because only a small
amount of aroma oil and foam agents are added, it is considered very safe
and low in irritants. Due to its natural ingredients used, Termedic is
environmentally friendly. |

I think about health of skin of a dog and use acidulous shampoo. Is Termedic
an acidulous shampoo? |
A |
It becomes a premise that this question is said to be good by subacidity
in health of skin of a dog. It is a wrong idea. PR advertisement by which
you should use the shampoo of acidulous because it was an explanation of
the shampoo for man and the skin was acidulous might have been interpreted
as it was. The dogskin skin has been biased to the alkali side if it says
if the shampoo of the same character as the PH value of the skin is good.
Then, it will be said that the neutral or the shampoo of alkalinity is
good. It is not thought that Termedic is good because it is an alkali though
is a shampoo or less of alkalescence. Anyway, I want you to know the quality
of the shampoo is not the one that is decided by the kind and the amount
of the additive besides the content of the surface-active agent, and decided
whether the shampoo is acidity or alkalinity. |

A |
Termedic's proven safety to dog's skin is the same as to humans'. The slippery
sensation after wash is one of the characteristics found in the Termedic
shampoo. The main ingredient is found in natural hot springs which share
similar properties including the slippery sensation combined with the removal
of old skin and creating smoothness to the skin. The Termedic is considered
a low-irritant skin care that provide not only protection to the skin of
pets but also to professionals handling pet grooming |

Q9
|
Can you provide the recommended use of Termedic? For example, the number
of times of shampoo and dilute amount |
A |
In general, one shampoo should be adequate per 2~3 weeks, However, within
this period, body odour can be noticed. With the Termedic, the frequency
of shampoing can be greatly reduced by its deodorizing power. Based on
the body odour and dirt you may want to control frequency of use. Dilluting
by 2~3 times is recommended but there is no problem to use the product
without diluting. |

|
Termedic differs from existing shampoos by not using the surface-active
agent as a washing element. Are soaps also the same kind? Would washing
by soap not recommended then? |
A |
As you know, animal/plant-based oil combined with alkaline chemicals (caustic
soda) are called soap. Soap is a kind of the surface-active agent but is
less irritating to the skin and the environment. However, the skin of a
dog is much more sensitive than a human being. Because they barely sweat,
the skin can be easily compromised by the strength of the shampoo and may
lead to bacterial infection. Therefore, we firmly believe a shampoo based
on pets should be used on pets only. |

Thank you for using our Kozgro products. Our product listing, ingredients
and usage are all explained on our home page. The major difference between
the Termedic and the pet shampoo is the fragrance used. Termedic uses rosemary
from France and a small amount of tea tree essential oil. The pet shampoo
uses the tea tree essential oil and the basic ingredients for both are
identical. We believe you will notice the difference when comparing the
two. As for usage, it is completely up to the user to enjoy. |
