Q1 |
Unlike general synthetic detergents, why do the Kozgro detergents not create
foam when washing? |
A |
Originally, foam is not only regarded harmful to the human body, but towards
the environment. Surely the creation of foam will result in increased cleaning
power but the Kozgro detergents are free of foams since its powerful cleaning
strength does not require it. Due to its low foam, less water is used for
rinsing off and will contribute economically through water consumption.
Although at first this may feel unusual, we firmly believe you will not
be disappointed with the Kozgro product which is both safe, pollution-free. |

Q2 |
I heard fabric softeners are not required if washing by Kozgro detergents? |
A |
Synthetic detergents after washing will cause the surface of the clothings
to be rough and therefore require fabric softeners to soften the fabrics.
With the Kozgro detergents, this is not required because the fabrics will
wash and remain soft. The lack of using softeners will contribute economically
and another merit of using the detergent will be that the washing machine
will be cleaned after prolonged use of Kozgro. This is due to the powerful
cleaning of Kozgro flushing foreign objects, mold, and synthetic residue
remaining in the drum of the washing machine. |

Q3 |
Does Kozgro detergent has other usage than for washing clothings? |
A |
We do not recommend usage of detergent other than for clothings and fabrics. |

Q4 |
The cap of the container was not properly sealed and the remaining liquid
Kozgro detergent turned to powder state. Why is this? |
A |
It is possible that due to the container not being sealed properly, all
the moisture has escaped, drying up the liquid and leaving the detergent
in its powdered form. Please add water to dissolve into liquid state. The
cleaning power and safety of usage will remain unchanged. However we strongly
recommend to keep all containers properly sealed. to prevent moisture from
evaporating. |

Q5 |
Can the Kozgro detergent be used together with bleach? |
A |
Bleach uses oxidation to whiten fabrics and will affect cleansing property
of a detergent. This will also affect the Kozgro detergents so we strongly
do not recommend using together. |

Q6 |
I purchased the Kozgro multi-purpose cleaner (2litre bottle) for both washing
and wiping for the first time. I understand there is also the kitchen-use
type. I would like to use the multi-purpose cleaner to use for both washing
dishes and vegetables. Would there be any problems in using for both? If
there are none, what ratio should I dilute the cleaner? |
A |
The multi-purpose cleaner can be used in such way but please acknowledge
the following 3 issues. First, It uses and it is not possible to use it.
However, please acknowledge three. It takes time to accumulate and to use
the dilution liquid for the container because the blowing agent is not
used. Because it is compounded harder, when I am employed by food, a smell
does not stay, and a fragrance of lavender oil refining of aroma oil please
warn a cedar enough. Please regulate dilution magnification of vegetables
washing to see a state from 300 times for the first time. Besides I am
related with mass of a dirt about tableware, but I begin with around 100
times, and please regulate it. Because detergency is strong, washing use
please be careful to the handling. |

Q7 |
Could bath water be used for washing? |
A |
Yes if it is from hot bath, this will not affect washing power and the
warmer the temperature of the water, the stronger the washing power. |

Q8 |
I usually use acid water for washing, but is not the acid water which heard
that Kozgro is alkaline good? |

Q9 |
When washing cloth with the multi-purpose cleaner, the washed cloth had
a distinct odour. When dried, this smell disappeared. Why? |
A |
It is possible that the laundry washing drum is dirty. Often in the current
use of soap this phenomenon occurs. Please try using 100 times dilluted
Kozgro washing detergent in a hot water of of 60℃~80℃ and have the laundry
drum washed as if washing regular laundry. |
Q&A top
Q10 |
What are the expiration of the washing purpose and multi-purpose detergent? |
A |
About the expiration date for using, it is difficult to answer accurately.
The quality quality of the product will not change because the inorganic
material will not break down or decompose furthery further. The aroma oil
may change in scent but is not considered a degradation of product quality.
The product shelf life is not life time guarantee but due to its alkaline
properties, it is very difficult for bacterial growth. Therefore we do
not have to have any additives or perservatives to extend the shelf life.
The quality will remain unchanged and very safe to use in your household. |

Q11 |
How about the effect on mold if using Kozgro for washing? For instance,
mold on wallpaper and clothes etc. |
A |
As for the characteristic of Kozgro, mold is hard to occur, but is a case
by case for the mold already appearing on surfaces. Mold on general surfaces
may be washed but for those on fabrics, it is even difficult for bleach
to remove. Kozgro product is made for washing purpose and is not considered
a mold remover. |

Q12 |
Can the wash-use and multipurpose use be pre-dilluted before use? Would
storing this cause any change in the quality of the product? |
A |
There is no problem with the quality by being stored for an extended period
of time The dilluted soultion from 30~30 times can be prepared and used
for cleaning as well. |

Q13 |
Can clothings with dry marks be washed by not using machine and be soaked
and hand washed? |
A |
This is a very difficult question to answer as even delicate fabrics can
shrink just by soaking in water. Wool products with dry marks may be possible
to be hand washed whereas silk products should be avoided to be soaked
in water. |
Q&A top
Q14 |
Can you use the product in washer machines (drum type)? |
A |
Thank you for having interest in our item. Yes, the drum type machines
can be used and Kozgro products are better suited for these types due to
its washing method using gravity. Without foam, tumbled clothes in the
drum type machine will fall, effectively washing but with excessive foam,
it acts as a cushion, preventing clothes from being washed fully. Also,
due to its design, only one part of the drum type machines will be soaked
in water and is very difficult to clean the entire inside area. With the
Kozgro product, using the non-organic material help keep the machine clean
and well maintenanced and free of mold. In general, please think that compatibility
with Kozgro is good. |

Q15 |
Detergent of other companies can wash the sweaters that cannot be washed
with water. Can these be washed with spa-mineral laundry? In addition,
some are labelled to wash with synthetic detergent but could these clothing
also be washed with your product? mineral laundry wash? |
A |
This is all case by case but clothings use different material and shrinkage
may happen due to how these sweaters are knit. to clothes because of how
to knit it. Please adhere to the indications of each clothing. For general
purpose, we understand majority of the fabric are recommended to wash with
the detergent containing "E-marl" so this would prevent the wool
fabric to open up. Some products such as silk are very weak towards absorption
of water and must avoid soaking in it. In these caes, you should consult
an expert in fabric and always adhere to the product warning and labels
attached to the clothing. |

Q17 |
Black mold still exist in my wash machine after using Kozgro. Before, there
were no mold and I always washed the machine many times. |
A |
How are you cleaning the inside of your machine? Just using Kozgro product
would not encourage growth of any kind of mold due to its inorganic property.
Perhaps you may have used bicarbonate soda which is still not strong enough
to remove residual mold, soap residue and scum. We recommend use of a strong
chemical cleaner once to remove the black mold completely and continue
use with the Kozgro product. |

Q18 |
After using Kozgro the odour of washed clothes (smell of towel, bib, cigarette
smell) cannot be removed. Some clothing smell very peristent but the amount
of clothes to be washed at a time is always at optimum (never put in too
much clothing). Should I increase amount of Kozgro? What can be the cause
of the smell? |
A |
It is really hard to specify the reason why it is so by the situation you
have explained, but judging from the smell, perhaps the wash drum is already
dirty and the smell has moved onto the clothing. Many synthetic detergents
can mask off smell using fabric scent and perfumes. Kozgro does not have
any added ingredients so this problem may occur. We recommend first washing
the inside of the washer machine and after removing all dirt and residue,
use the Kozgro products. Continue use of the product will also keep clean
and maintain the washer machine. We recommend diluting the detergent to
100 times in hot water of 60-80C and wash the machine empty. If the washer
has not been cleaned for a while, we ask to use detergents for washing
washer machines first. |
Q&A top
Q19 |
How can fabrics be completed with soft finishing? |
A |
Because neither the detergent nor soap residue remain, washing with Kozgro
will allow the fabrics to remain soft. It does not require any fabric softeners.
However, this is dependent on a clean wash machine. Any residue remaining
in the machine can attach to the clothing and make it less soft. We recommend
complete washing of the machine first before use. |
Q&A top
Q20 |
Can the detergent for washing be used with bleach? |

and can be used alone, combination will affect the solution so it is not
recommended. |

Q21 |
Can the detergent for washing be used with the laundry clean ring? |
A |
We cannot answer this properly because there is no scientific explanation
on the use of clean ring. There should be no effect using Kozgro but the
ring may damage delicate fabric since it acts as a washboard. Please becareful
when using both. |
Q&A top
Q22 |
Can you use detergent for washing for silk, wool? |
A |
Silk is very weak to water so please ask a specialist. Wools are dependant
on how it is knit but would not recommend any important ones to wash. Again,
these are case by case since some wool products are now machine washable.
Please check the label and tags attached to the cloth |

Q23 |
Can rinsing be performed once? Should water be retained? What is the best
washing time when using Kozgro? |
A |
This is a hard question because we do not know the function or ability
of the machine you use for washing. Generally, one time rinsing is adequate
and the wash time from 3 to 5 minutes is more than enough. Since our product
does not create any foam, excessive rinsing is not required. This is again
dependant on the type of washing machine used so we ask you to test our
product and see the right combination for yourself |

Q24 |
When I wash a diaper made by fleece, it is water-repellent and I had trouble
washing. I switched to Kozgro and have not been using any other detergent
for about a month. Would it be possible for elements in Kozgro to create
a fabric to become water repellent? If so, is there any way to avoid this?
(For instance, wash it in hot water, rins it with citric acid or bicarbonate
of soda .etc.) Please show the procedure or method works good for Kozgro
compared with others. |
A |
It is a very difficult question. It is highly unlikely that using Kozgro
would create fabrics to become water-repellent. A good way to test is to
have several drops of water fall onto the fleece and see whether it gets
absorbed or not. If not, there is a possibility that the fabric itself
has been contained with soap residue, softeners, oil extracts and various
chemicals from regular wash detergent. Kozgro does not have the characteristics
to leave behind any residue that will remain inside the fabric. As for
removing these residue from the fabric there are various misinformation
and products that you should watch out for. Since results will vary in
a case by case scenario, we can only comment on basic issues. For example,
bicarbonate soda would not be effective as much as Kozgro. Citric acid
is only effective toward soap residue and must be rinsed thoroughly. The
result will change if soap residue were not the reason for the problem
caused. If oil residue remains, you should wash with hot water. There are
various reasons why the fabric becomes water repellent and it is important
to find out the reason first before using anything to remove the residue
causing the repelling effect. |

A |
The washing power will improve as temperature of water increases. |

Q26 |
Would there be any chemical reaction or change in product quality if cleaning
agent is placed in high temperature? |
A |
Kozgro is inorganic-based material so increase in temperature will not
affect the quality of product. We even recommend using hot bath water to
use for washing. It is also effective in drum type washer machines |

Q27 |
Some clothing label informs to use "Neutral" detergent. Can Kozgro
be used for such clothes? |
A |
We regret to inform you but this is not always the case. We are certain
not to use on silk since the fabric itself is so weak, we recommend an
experts advice since silk can easily shrink by soaking it in water. Even
wool products these days explain on their tag that they are machine washable.

Q28 |
Q4 from the washing Q&A asks about the product turning into powder
state after leaving the lid open. However, the unopened product had the
bottom become gelatinous and this cannot be mixed with water to use. Even
when putting in the washing machine in gelatinous form, it hardly dissolves
with water. |
A |
This problem is due to the fact that low temperature of the water would
disallow the dissolving of the Kozgro product. However, recently our product
was improved so it would not turn into crystallized state or gellatinous
state. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. |

residual soap will not remain on the fabrics. |
Q&A top
Q30 |
Can the cleaning agent for washing be used together with bleach? |
A |
It is not possible to use it together with bleach (chlorine) and soap.
Furthermore it neutralizes its effectiveness because it become an alkaline
chemical. Use bleach separately for best result. Partial bleach use before
washing can be effective |
Q&A top
Q31 |
May I use bleach (oversodium carbonate 100%) together?May I use usual soap
together with it? |
A |
Please never use it together with for bleach. Combined usage is not recommended
since this will neutralize the bleach effect and turn into alkaline chemical.
This can even affect washing power of Kozgro. Partial use in liquid form
is effective. In regards to combined use with soap, this is not recommended
either. Soap should not be used together in the same wash machine. The
soap`s surface-active agent will only hinder the wash power of Kozgro and
may prevent it from removing dirt from clothings. If soap is used together
in the same wash machine, the residue can be trapped inside and the Kozgro
product will effectively remove those residue instead of the actual clothing
themselves. |

permeability. Kozgro can effectively remove blood stains as well. |

I purchased a new washing machine 3 days ago and the upper half of the
washing drum stainless steel has become fogged up when I began to use the
Kozgro detergent. I switched on the dry function. Would the fogging up
of the stainless steel part has anything to do with the type of detergent
used? |
A |
Since we cannot positively identify the problem, we cannot be certain but
there should be no relations to what has happened to the machine was directly
related to the detergent used. For Kozgro, it should not cause any kind
of reaction to stainless steel. It may be possible that the upper part
of the stainless steel may have not been in direct contact with Kozgro.
The lower half may have remained normal since Kozgro prevents static electricity
from forming. However, based on the product ingredient, it is highly unlikely
that Kozgro has caused the stainless steel to become foggy. |

I have washed cloth diapers by having it soaked in alkaline phosphatase
but heard about how good Kozgro was and have decided to use your product.
For instance, how much Kozgro should I put in a 5 litre water? Please tell
me the ratio for soaking and washing. |
A |
This is a case by case scenario in terms of the standard of soaking-wash
use. First of all, the ratio is for every 30ml of water, add 10ml of Kozgro.
If for removing small dirt, use same ratio for washing. It is dependant
on how much surface is dirty but for 5l of water, you will only need about
5ml of Kozgro. Please make necessary adjustments when using. |

Q38 |
I use the automatic washing machine but I always use the powder detergent
and not the liquid type. When should I put it in? Should I put in before
or after the wash area is thoroughly filled with water? |
A |
You may put the liquid into the powder detergent entry area or into the
wash area when water has been filled up. Since it is in liquid state, the
detergent will dissolve right away. However, you may want to avoid directly
putting the liquid on top of the clothes if the wash area would not be
filled up with water immediately. |
Q&A top
Q39 |
When using Kozgro, is it possible to use oxidized bleach, EM cleaning agent,
and sodium carbonate, etc. together? |
A |
Just like with soap when including bleach will only neutralize its effect
since both become alkaline chemicals and would be pointless since it no
longer act as bleach. Limited use on concentrated area before actual wash
is recommended. For sodium carbonate, this will only strengthen the alkaline
content and may even disrupt the Kozgro detergent so we do not recommend
this eithr. As for EM cleaning agent, there are many types but generally
we would ask you to avoid using together with Kozgro as it would contain
elements that would be flushed out. |

Q40 |
I put a concentrated solution directly onto the surface of the blood stained
clothes and washed with the other clothes but ended up not removing it.
I tried this twice but the stain still remains. How can I remove? |
A |
For Kozgro, it is better to not to use a concentrated solution directly
onto the surface area but rather prepare a diluted solution (5-10 times)
into a hot water (42C-for blood stain, water temperature should not be
too low or high) and hand wash. This should remove the stain effectively.
Kozgro is used and trusted in 27 universities in Okinawa including the
Ryukyu University hospital as washing solution for various surgery apparatuses. |
Q&A top
Q41 |
Would dirt and sweat stains remove easiy from socks? |
A |
These may be harder to remove even when using synthetic detergent or soap.
We suggest to make a dilluted liquid spray (30-50 times dillution with
water) and spray onto areas and massage before putting it in washer. This
should make a difference in result. Else, you may want to put a concentrated
solution of the Kozgro kitchen detergent directly onto the surface of the
dirt before washing. |

over one and a half years. |
A |
It is possible to use it for a long term but will definitely exceed shelf
life of 2 years. If the product is left longer, the scent will be slightly
weaker but would not affect wash power for at least 10 years. |

Q43 |
Is there anything I should avoid to put in the laundry wash such as hemp
and silk? |
A |
Hemp should be no problem but please avoid silk. We recommend consulting

some of them can be machine washable. Some, depending on how the wool was
processed and knit can shrink when washed. |

Q44 |
Would the detergent include any kind of bleach as cleaning agent? |
A |
Kozgro does not include any bleach element used to whiten clothing or fabrics.
If desired please use bleach separately but avoid the sodium carbonate
type together with Kozgro since it will lose its effect. The bleach of
oxygen type doesn't work as a bleach if it is put in alkali, and same in
soap. It works if you use the oxygen type bleach partially. |

Q45 |
How is it comparable to alkali wash and sodium bicarbonate. (Sesuki sodium
carbonate) |
A |
There are many comparison for instance, price, scent, advertising power,
and washing power, etc. The Kozgro product has superior washing power so
the amount of use will be very minimal making it very economical. It uses
less water so the cost of water and electricity of that household will
greatly be reduced. It is very environmentally safe and easy to use for
busy housewives. The detergent is very versatile and can be used multi-purposely
and being the third cleaning agent to acquire the patent of nine countries
including Europe, the United States, and Japan it differs from the usual
synthetic detergent because it does not use the surface-active agent and
preservatives. The mineral included in the hot spring is very gentle to
the body and environment. With these advantages, Kozgro is far superior
product. |

Basically, it is possible. However, the pyroligneous acid will be removed
by Kozgro since it only detect it as dirt. If the pyroligenous acid amount
is larger, please adjust by including more Kozgro detergent or lessen the
water level to wash. We ask to use distilled pyroligeneous acid so the
washing can be easy. |

Q48 |
Would there be any soap residue? |
A |
No, there would be no soap residue. Soap residue would result from the
element of soap to combine with calcium found in tap water. Kozgro does
not contain any element that can bind with calcium and remain afterwards.
You would notice that after use, the washer machine will become more cleaner
since the Kozgro agent will remove any remaining soap residue found inside
the wash area of the machine. |
